This intense route starts right from Pedregal Ecolodge, going up the creek, about three-to-four hours down & up a stone path bordered by a pure and flowing river. When you reach Cancha Cancha, about a thousand meters higher, you can see a beautiful view over the snowy Chicón and Sahuasiray mountains. From here many routes begin where you can explore beautiful native forests, ideal places to see some of the typical ancient species of the region, and several glacial lagoons, in which the locals usually catch trout. With a little more courage one can climb towards the Pachacutec pass and enjoy a sublime panorama: the perfect peak of the Siriwani snowy mountain is reflected in three lagoons that it dominates. The intense descent will you exhausted and surely happy to be in their comfortable bed in Pedregal Ecolodge.
