In Pedregal Ecolodge you will rest easy. In our warm & comfortable rooms, you'll be surrounded by mountains and landscapes unlike any you've ever seen. Amidst the native flora and fauna, you'll be able to appreciate a sky full of stars & the enchanting sound of our local birds. Rooms

We have three different types of rooms (6 lodgings in total) for you to choose from. Our rooms are amenable to the different seasons of Peru, allowing for freshness when it is hot and warmth when it is cold. This is thanks to the natural materials that were used in the construction process (clay, hay, adobe, wood). We use a photovoltaic system for our lighting and we have a solar water heating system for all of our showers, all lodgings have a private bathroom. We have four rooms which have two queen sized beds (fits four in total), one matrimonial (king sized bed) lodging and another with two single beds. We can always add an extra bed to your bedroom if needed.

Dream

Throughout Teresa's childhood, she had recurrent dreams of frolicking around flower-filled fields, which were surrounded by frogs and often had beautiful rocky paths. In these dreams she often found herself playing and caring for large groups of children. Therein within a dream, dreams were born. Teresa attained training in Waldorf pedagogy and pursued the trying but rewarding profession of teaching. Pedregal is an incarnation of the dream, born in hopes to protect and cultivate land amid rocks, and nurturing kids along the way. Ten years later, we find ourselves in this warm ecolodge nestled between the mountains and the local Huarán flora. Much sweat, tears and laughter has gone into building our Pedregal. But most importantly, it was fueled by a strong will to fulfill one's dreams. I hope we can reawaken yours throughout your stay with us.

In Pedregal Ecolodge we practice permaculture. We choose a natural, balanced and nutritious diet. We offer those who join us with an experience of a conscious way of living. We strive to establish symbiosis with our surroundings. Pedregal inspires us to reconsider the foundations of our daily behaviors. Pedregal encourages us to observe the world around us with curiosity and innovativeness, not allowing daily routine to get in the way of awareness. Pedregal invites introspection, leaving each one of us with a rejuvenated image of our true nature.

Visión

We want to build a sustainable and prosperous symbiotic business model between tourism and education. We want to provide visitors with an awakening experience. We want to use those funds to develop better access to 0-7 years education in the neighborhood of Huarán, our lovely home. We also strive to be a sustainable cultural center. We hope that our principles of self-education, conscious experience, and environmental awareness can be shared with many children & adults from near and far.
