Leaving by foot from the Ecolodge, after a forty-minute walk, you'll reach the neighbouring town of Arin and its beautiful waterfall, from which you can also take advantage of a beautiful panorama over the valley. Going down to the main road that you'll cross to find a path that will take you to the Inkariy museum, which is focused on pre-Hispanic cultures, which in addition to the famous Inca empire include the cultures of Caral, Chavín, Paracas, Moche, Nazca, Wari, Lambayeque and Chimú.
You can then go to the Urco Archeological centre, located about fifteen minutes from the museum. In addition to ruins of rooms and a beautiful grain store, there is a large stone carving, in which you can see a snake.
This excursion, with a short walk and very little transport, is perfect for those who want to spend a full and quiet day discovering the surroundings of the lodge and enjoying little known places.
