This beautiful mix of adventures allows you to visit several attractive places in the southwest of Cusco, heading towards Puno, including the famous rainbow mountain (which one cannot miss)! Leaving Pedregal early with private transportation, in about two hours we will make the first stop to the archaeological center of Tipón, exploring its corners, terraces and its irrigation channel (still intact!). It has probably been used as a laboratory for agricultural products by the various microclimates found within this complex. Apart from being another archaeological complex, on this site there is one of the largest irrigation works on the terraces, also called platforms (where again you can see the incredible distribution of outdoor water pipes).

From there we will return to the car for about three more hours of travel to the archaeological center of Raqchi, also known as the temple of Huiracocha, a divinity of heaven that encompasses the Andean idea of a Creator God. Of the numerous constructions, of which there are more than 150 circular grain stores, the imposing Huiracocha temple stands out; it had the largest roof of the Incan empire before being destroyed during the conquest.

Then you can enjoy a rich and well-deserved lunch in the city of Sicuani, the second most populous town in the department of Cusco, before resting & taking advantage of the rich thermal waters of Raya. This spot has three swimming pools, two being covered, and several wells; The water that comes out of natural cracks is reputed to be medicinal, healing rheumatisms and arthritis, and its temperature ranges from 12 to 60 degrees. Then we will return to Sicuani where an atypical and warm hotel awaits you for dinner and recover from the day of travel.

The next day we will have an early wake up call; we will leave at 6am to arrive early at the beginning of the trek to the rainbow mountain, taking advantage of the stillness of the place before the Cusco crowd has arrived.
