Huchuy Qosqo, "Little Cusco" in Quechua, comprises of a large number of buildings, some of stone, some of adobe, surrounding a Kallanka (large hall), which is about 40m long. The water supply to the site is an irrigation canal built by the Incas, lined with 800m of stones. There are three ways to reach this incredible archaeological site: 1. By car. 2. Walking for three hours from the city of Lamay (near Calca). 3. Walking for 4 to 6 hours from the Tauca community, with a passage of 4400 meters above sea level and an unmissable view of the ruins.
